I've made it into a minicomic which you can buy from me if you come to the Jet City Comics Show http://www.jetcitycomicshow.com/guests/comic-guests.html in Tacoma where I will be a guest in Artists' Alley on November 8, or Short Run Seattle http://www.shortrun.org/ on November 15 where I will have a table. In the meantime, here are the first few pages:

Cats In Service....in progress

I started this story in the spring of 2011. I started inking it about a month ago and finally feel kind of in the swing of it. A couple of my crack editors recommended adding a few extra panels, so I'll have to go back to drawing before I finish it completely.

Drippy Season

All the leaves are gone and the nest in the tree across the street from my house is once again visible. I hope one day to see one of these in real life.

mushroom season

I've fallen in love with mushrooms this fall. They are everywhere in the forests, meadows and yards of Seattle where I walk my dog. I've been making up my own names for them. Maybe next year I'll learn to identify them for real.

procrastination or getting into the swing of things

Virginia and I are working on some Halloween costume designs. Superpuppy for Ginger and Toothless (the book version) for her. I got help with ears, wings and horns from a blog called Sugar Tart. The woman who does it has an amazing tutorial on how to make an awesome My Little Pony costume. http://www.sugartartcrafts.com/2013/09/my-little-pony-costume-sew-along.html
